As store manager, you'll play a key role in creating a store where both customers and employees thrive. About the Role As store manager at Sportshopen, you are an operational and present leader. You lead the daily work, coach and develop your employees, and ensure that together you create a store with excellent service, sales, and a great work environment. Since this is a brand new store, you'll get to set work methods, create structure, and build the team from scratch. You'll have considerable scope to influence how you together create a well-functioning and inspiring store. In the role, you will, among other things: lead, coach, and develop your employees track sales, key metrics, and results plan staffing and scheduling based on the store's needs recruit and onboard new employees create efficient work processes and ensure our routines are followed contribute to a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment ensure that Sportshopen's concept and values permeate the store create good conditions for both employees and the store to develop. Who Are We Looking For? We believe you are an engaged and driven leader who enjoys helping people grow and who is motivated by working with your team to reach set goals. You are clear and communicative, while also being unpretentious and responsive. You like taking responsibility, see opportunities rather than obstacles, and thrive in an environment where things can change and develop. For success in the role, we'd like you to have experience working in retail and leading or coaching others, preferably from a similar position. You have experience with staffing, personnel planning, and tracking results. Experience from sports and retail is a merit, as is education or experience in leadership and economics. What matters most to us is who you are and what you can contribute. We believe the right person can come from different backgrounds and would like you to tell us what you specifically can contribute. Of course, you have a genuine interest in sports and leisure and enjoy meeting customers and creating really great customer experiences. You'll have the opportunity to be part of it from the very beginning and build a brand new Sportshopen store together with your team. Terms The position is a permanent employment at 100%, beginning with a six-month probationary period. Working hours vary and weekend work occurs. We have collective bargaining agreements. Start date: by agreement, preferably as soon as possible. Swedemount Sportswear & Fashion AB was founded in 1991 and today has 23 stores under the name Sportshopen and one store under the name Bazar. In Sörred outside Gothenburg, we have our 20,000 sqm automated warehouse and office. In Grebbestad on the west coast, we also have our head office and our largest store, which is Northern Europe's largest sports store at 14,000 sqm. Our stores are located throughout Sweden, from north to south, with growing e-commerce that also extends to the European market. Sportshopen is today one of the larger independent operators in Sweden in sports and leisure sales. Our assortment consists mainly of clothing and shoes from leading brand suppliers, but we also develop and manufacture our own brands—clothes that can be used for activities in harsh climates, year-round.
