The role is a perfect combination where you balance administrative leadership tasks with hands-on work on the store floor alongside your team members. As store manager, you're responsible for building and running our new store in Uppsala. You'll lead your team with humor and passion, and your day-to-day work is characterized by a natural balance between strategic store operations and being fully involved in the daily work on the floor to maximize sales and customer experience. Responsibilities The role involves complete responsibility for the store's success, from administrative leadership and scheduling to practical work on the floor during intense and fun periods like Halloween. Manage the daily store operations and achieve sales targets Recruit, lead, and inspire your team of sales associates Handle scheduling and personnel administration according to the Handels collective agreement Work operationally at the register and with merchandise receiving Plan and execute promotional activities and local events Build and maintain collaborations with local student organizations in Uppsala Ensure an inspiring store environment through effective merchandise displays We're Looking for You If You Have Experience in retail leadership or retail management Good knowledge of the Handels collective agreement and scheduling Fluent Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written Experience with hands-on store operations and cash register work Ability to work physically and thrive in an active work environment It's a Plus If You Have Previous experience as a store manager with profit responsibility Experience being part of a store opening Established connections within Uppsala's student community To succeed in this role, you have the following personal qualities: Open to change Helpful Stress-tolerant Social Responsible As a person, you're a self-driven idea generator with natural drive.
