About you
Are you social, responsible, and enjoy helping people while enjoying being behind the wheel? Then being a bus driver is the job for you. You operate the vehicle in a safe and secure manner with environmental thinking at the core. You are responsible and can keep calm even in stressful traffic and passenger situations.
You must have valid:
Class D driver's license
Professional competence certificate (YKB)
Digital tachograph card according to the Swedish Transport Agency
And be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
A typical workday
You start and end your workday at our depot in Norrtälje or another outer depot. Working hours vary depending on the schedule and your work shift arrangement.
You will have varied work with great personal responsibility while also being a social job. Even if you drive the same route, you meet new people every day. You are available to answer questions that passengers may have along the way.
In addition, you report any traffic disruptions, deviations, and vehicle malfunctions to traffic control.
You are simply the face of public transit, and your primary task is to give our passengers an easy, safe, and pleasant journey!
About Transdev Norrtälje
Since August 2022, Transdev has operated line traffic in Norrtälje, and today the driver team consists of approximately 260 drivers. As a bus driver at our depot, you will work among colleagues with great family cohesion and warm team spirit.
