About the Role

We are now seeking a Process Automation Developer for an international industrial company, where you'll have the opportunity to work closely with both the business and technical development in automation and digitalization. The role is perfect for you if you have several years of experience with workflow, BPMS, or process automation and want to take the next step toward a more technically leading position.
You will work on designing and developing business processes that help the organization work smarter, faster, and more structured. At the same time, you'll be part of an exciting initiative in automation, AI, and the digital work methods of the future.
This is not a traditional developer role. The focus is on understanding business processes, challenging requirements, and translating needs into sustainable solutions using modern BPMS and low-code platforms.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will, among other things:
• Work closely with the business to understand, map, and improve business processes
• Participate in workshops with stakeholders and delivery leads
• Design and implement end-to-end business processes in a BPMS platform
• Build forms, workflow logic, and business rules
• Work with integrations and API-based solutions
• Ensure that solutions are built scalably, sustainably, and according to established standards
• Contribute with technical holistic thinking and challenge existing work methods
• Explore how AI agents and new technologies can be integrated into future process solutions
Your Profile
We believe you have several years of experience in BPMS, workflow, or process automation and have worked on developing business processes in close collaboration with the business.
You enjoy understanding how the business works and how processes can be improved, simplified, and automated through technology. You are comfortable communicating with users, business stakeholders, and technical teams and have an interest in how solutions are designed sustainably over time.
As a person, you are proactive and enjoy taking responsibility for your work. You are curious, ask questions, and want to understand both the business needs and the technical implications of different solutions. You are comfortable sharing your own ideas, challenging requirements when needed, and helping to find long-term sustainable solutions. At the same time, you are unpretentious and enjoy collaborating with others to achieve the best possible results.
We believe you have experience with:
• BPMS, workflow, or process automation platforms such as Decisions, Camunda, Pega, Nintex, or similar
• Designing, configuring, or further developing business processes and workflows
• Working with forms, workflow logic, business rules, or similar functionality in a process platform
• Process mapping, requirement discussions, and business-close work
• Integrations, APIs, and databases
• Agile development environments
It is a plus if you have experience with:
• BPMN, process modeling, or end-to-end process design
• AI, low-code platforms, or process automation in larger organizations
• Taking technical responsibility for solutions or serving as a technical guide in projects
