Business Planning Analyst for International Electronics Company

SJR is now seeking a Business Planning Analyst for our client in Kista, a large international company in the electronics industry. This is a full-time consulting position starting as soon as possible for 6 months with excellent opportunities for extension. You will have the opportunity to work close to the operations in a dynamic environment with office presence five days a week. About the Role In this position, you will play an important role in the company's planning and follow-up work. You are responsible for analyzing the company's results, developing forecasts, and providing market insights that support both operational and strategic decisions. The role involves many contact points within the organization and close collaboration with management and other business functions. Responsibilities - Participate in developing and enhancing business plans. - Analyze market development, competitive situation, and business opportunities. - Establish and update rolling forecasts and financial projections. - Monitor key performance indicators and analyze results against budget and forecast. - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L). - Identify deviations and provide recommendations to the business. - Develop and compile reports and decision-making materials for management and senior leadership. - Conduct market and external environment analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. - Support the business with analyses and insights that contribute to profitability and growth. Suitable Background We are looking for someone with an academic degree in economics, finance, business administration, or equivalent. You have experience in business planning, financial analysis, controlling, or similar analytical roles where you have worked with budgets, forecasts, and reporting. You have a strong understanding of financial models and are accustomed to translating figures and analyses into business recommendations. Furthermore, you have excellent Excel skills and experience with financial systems and reporting tools. You communicate fluently in English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, you are analytical, structured, and have a strong business focus. You enjoy working data-driven and have the ability to identify patterns, relationships, and improvement opportunities in complex information. You take responsibility for your work, drive processes forward, and have a proactive approach. As a person, you are also communicative and collaboration-oriented. You build trust easily with various stakeholders and can present analyses and recommendations clearly to both colleagues and management.
