Business Planning Analyst with Fluent Korean Language Skills

SJR is now recruiting a Business Planning Analyst for our client in Kista, a large international company in the electronics industry. This is a full-time consulting assignment starting as soon as possible and lasting 6 months with good opportunities for extension. You will have the opportunity to work close to the operations in a dynamic environment with on-site presence five days a week. About the Position In this role, you will have an important function in the company's planning and follow-up work. You are responsible for analyzing the business results, developing forecasts, and providing market insights that support both operational and strategic decisions. The role involves many contact points within the organization and close collaboration with management and other business functions. Responsibilities - Participate in the development and improvement of business plans. - Analyze market developments, competitive situation, and business opportunities. - Create and update rolling forecasts and financial forecasts. - Monitor the business's key metrics and analyze results against budget and forecast. - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual results reports (P&L). - Identify deviations and provide recommendations to the business. - Develop and compile reports and decision-making materials for management group and senior management. - Conduct market and external environment analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. - Support the business with analyses and insights that contribute to profitability and growth. Suitable Background We are looking for someone with an academic degree in economics, finance, business administration, or equivalent. You have experience in business planning, financial analysis, controlling, or similar analytical roles where you have worked with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You have a good understanding of financial models and are used to translating figures and analyses into business recommendations. Furthermore, you have very good Excel skills and experience with financial systems and reporting tools. You communicate fluently in Korean and English in both spoken and written form. You thrive working data-driven and have the ability to identify patterns, relationships, and improvement opportunities in complex information.
