We at Mpya Finance are now recruiting a Business Controller for Euroform Group in Tranås. Here you will become an important business partner to the CFO and operational managers, with a clear mandate to create insights, drive follow-up, and ensure that decisions lead to concrete results.
Euroform Group is a high-tech developer and manufacturer of injection-molded plastic systems and components for European industry. Euroform AB operates two factories in Tranås, and Euroform MediPharm AB in Motala, serving the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries.
Main Responsibilities
As a Business Controller, you will have a central role in the company's operational management, focusing on developing profitability, productivity, and business decisions. The role involves both strategic and operational work where you ensure that the business works toward the right goals and follows up on correct key metrics.
Prepare decision-making materials for investments, operational changes, and improvement initiatives
Conduct business cases, scenario analyses, and profitability analyses
Actively participate in budgeting, forecasting, and closing processes
Analyze operational results and identify drivers behind variances and improvement potential
Develop and monitor operational results, KPIs, and action plans
Ensure understanding of calculations, cost structures, and the relationship between pre-calculations, post-calculations, and reported results
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with an academic degree in economics or equivalent and several years of experience in Business Control, Operations Control, or a similar operations-focused role. You have a good understanding of accounting, including income statements and balance sheets, as well as the connection between accounting and operational activities. Ideally, you have experience from manufacturing industry and are accustomed to working closely with managers and decision-makers. We also see that you have experience with full-cost accounting and a good understanding of calculation models as well as the relationship between pre-calculations, post-calculations, and actual results. Experience with Monitor ERP and Power BI is a merit.
As a person, you are business-minded, analytical, and driven by creating improvements. You have a natural ability to see connections, identify root causes, and translate analyses into concrete recommendations and actions. You thrive on taking responsibility, challenging established practices, and driving issues from analysis to implementation. At the same time, you are a communicative and trustworthy person who easily builds relationships with colleagues throughout the organization.
