About the Role

As a Business Controller with us, you will have a central and business-oriented role where you serve as an important support in decision-making. You work close to the operations and support management and business units with analyses, monitoring, and forecasts.
ContiTech develops innovative solutions in rubber and plastic technology for industry. Operations in Scandinavia are in an exciting development phase where the company is building its own structures, processes, and ways of working for the future. This role suits you if you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you can combine operational work with improvement initiatives and have real influence. You will be part of a small team in Kista, reporting to the Finance & HR Manager. A role with significant responsibility and broad contact points across Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze results, deviations, and key metrics, and identify improvement measures
Support managers and sales organization with calculations, margin analyses, and forecasts
Participate in monthly and annual financial closings
Drive and contribute to budget and forecast processes
Prepare decision-making materials, reports, and presentations
Act as business support to operational managers
Develop and improve financial processes
Ensure data quality and work with ERP systems
Who Are You
We are looking for someone who is proactive and takes initiative in your approach to work. You see what needs to be done, identify problems before they arise, and enjoy proposing solutions. You thrive with taking responsibility, working independently, and contributing to the development of both processes and operations.
You have a relevant academic degree in economics, business administration, or equivalent, plus several years of experience – preferably from a business-oriented controlling role. Most importantly, you have a strong business sense and the ability to translate figures into concrete actions and business value. You are experienced in working with different systems and have strong skills in both SAP and Excel. Experience working in an international environment with a matrix organization is a plus.
As a person, you are structured, responsible, and communicative, with the ability to adapt financial information for different audiences. You are comfortable both supporting and challenging stakeholders in your role.
