About the Operation Start Your Medical Career in Mora BT in Mora gives you a broad and developmental start to your medical career, with great opportunities to grow both professionally and personally. Here you will have the opportunity for an active outdoor and sports life both summer and winter. If you are interested in music and culture, you are not far from Dalhala or Zornmuseet. During your acute care placement, you will spend most of your time in the emergency department where you work as a general line doctor, meaning you treat all types of patients regardless of reason for visit. You will work day, evening, and weekend shifts in the emergency department. Night shifts are staffed primarily by senior resident physicians. You will also be placed in all of our wards under medicine, orthopedics, and surgery. You have close support from experienced colleagues and backup physicians, which provides excellent opportunities for rapid development and valuable clinical experience. Mora Hospital is one of Dalarna's two acute hospitals and offers broad clinical services in both medical and surgical specialties. With a catchment area of approximately 80,000 residents, which doubles during the tourist seasons both winter and summer, you as a BT physician will meet a varied patient population and a wide range of medical conditions. The smaller hospital environment creates favorable conditions for supervision, learning, and close collaboration between specialties. BT is a clinical introductory service and a mandatory part of new specialist training. In Region Dalarna, we offer a cohesive time-limited employment with the goal of also helping us find our future specialist physicians and specialist colleagues. Work Assignments Since we are looking for you who wants to become our future specialist, we would like to see that you have an interest in more long-term collaboration and a willingness to contribute to developing our operations together with us in Region Dalarna. We are looking for someone with high social competence and good judgment. You are easy to work with while having a good ability for leadership. You are mature, motivated, and have good self-awareness. You have the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to successfully work as a BT physician. The assignment may often involve multiple placement locations and commuting by car may be required. Start spring 2027 - in early February or early May. The position includes, in addition to a thorough introduction, clinical service under supervision in general medicine, acute care, and psychiatry, for a total of 54 weeks of service - including 4 weeks vacation. The service consists mainly of clinical work with continuous supervision and recurring structured competency assessments. In addition, recurring training opportunities aimed at achieving approved basic competence according to SoS regulations and target descriptions for BT. Qualifications Formal Qualifications: You must have Swedish medical license at the start of the basic service Have not completed Swedish AT. The Position Requires: Swedish personal identification number. Enclosed upper secondary school grades Good spoken and written communication skills in Swedish, which will also be assessed in the selection process. Clinical experience from Swedish healthcare with good references is a requirement.
