Falu Hospital is Dalarna's regional hospital serving a catchment area of approximately 280,000 inhabitants. Here BT training is offered within an operation with a broad patient population, a good educational climate, and high specialist competence. On-call service is provided with close support from experienced colleagues and backup on-call coverage. BT is a clinical introductory service and a mandatory part of new specialist training. In Region Dalarna, we offer a coordinated fixed-term employment with the goal of also helping to identify our future ST doctors and specialist colleagues. Job Responsibilities As we seek someone who wants to become our future specialist, we would like to see an interest in longer-term collaboration and a willingness to help develop our operations together with us in Region Dalarna. We seek someone with high social competence and sound judgment. You are easy to collaborate with while also having good leadership ability. You are mature, motivated, and have good self-awareness. You possess the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to successfully perform work as a BT doctor. The assignment may often involve multiple service locations and commuting by car may be required. Start spring 2027 - mid-February or mid-May. The position includes, in addition to comprehensive introductory training, clinical service under supervision in general medicine, acute care, and psychiatry, totaling 54 weeks of service - including 4 weeks vacation. The service consists mainly of clinical work with continuous mentoring and recurring structured competency assessments. Additionally, recurring training sessions aimed at achieving approved basic competence according to SoS regulations and BT target descriptions. Qualifications Formal Qualifications: You must have Swedish medical licensure at the beginning of basic training You must not have completed Swedish AT (apprenticeship training). The Positions Require: Swedish personal identification number. Attached upper secondary school grades Good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish, which will also be assessed in the selection process. Clinical experience from Swedish healthcare with good references is a requirement.
