Brottsoffermyndigheten (the Swedish Crime Victim Authority) is Sweden's expert authority on crime victim issues. The authority works to improve information and support for those who have been victims of crime by deciding on crime victim compensation, recovering compensation paid out from perpetrators, financing research and crime victim-focused projects through the Crime Victim Fund, and serving as a knowledge center on crime victim issues. The authority is located in central Umeå. Brottsoffermyndigheten is in an expansionary phase and is now seeking a registrar for the authority's economic administrative unit. About the role As a registrar, you will work with a team of registrars responsible for typical registrar tasks, including handling incoming mail, email, filing, and registration. You will also continuously collaborate with the authority's archivist on archive matters. An important part of the role is to provide consultative support to the organization in managing documents in accordance with current regulations on public records, public access, and confidentiality. The work includes continuously participating in ensuring and streamlining processes and procedures within your area of responsibility and actively contributing to the organization's operations. Other relevant experience working in public administration with electronic document and case management, records creation, and knowledge of public access and confidentiality regulations are also valued.
