As a social worker at Bris, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference for children. You'll meet children and young people in supportive conversations, while also working to strengthen children's rights through collaboration, education, and outreach initiatives in the region. We're now seeking a social worker for our Linköping office who wants to combine direct support to children and families with outreach regional development work. About the Regional Division This position is part of Bris' regional division with colleagues in Linköping, Stockholm, Göteborg, Malmö, Umeå, and Luleå. Together, we work to ensure more children have their rights fulfilled and to strengthen adults around children. You'll be based at our Linköping office and, in addition to direct support for children, will have a special focus on developing and strengthening Bris' presence in the East region. You'll do this by working closely with Bris regional representatives in collaboration with key stakeholders and Bris networks and their network meetings. About the Position The role combines direct support to children with a regional and strategic mandate. In this role, you will: Provide support to children and young people through Bris' reception. When needed, assist the child in existing or new contacts with authorities. Give lectures and train working professionals. Build strategic collaborations with service professionals, civil society, and politicians to spread knowledge about children's living conditions, children's rights, and Bris' activities. Plan and implement outreach activities, such as Bris network meetings, that strengthen Bris' presence in the region. The work involves travel within the region as well as some evening and weekend shifts. Your work will be implemented and followed up based on activity plans, key metrics, and individual goals. You have regular check-ins and report to the regional manager. Who Are You? You're comfortable meeting with children and families and want to work in a supportive capacity, while also thriving in settings where you represent an organization, build relationships, and drive development work forward. You have a natural ability to build trust, collaborate, and communicate a message. The role is independent, which requires you to have strong drive and prioritization skills. To succeed in this role, you need to be flexible and comfortable quickly switching between different tasks. Of course, you share Bris' values and our commitment to children's rights. Qualification Requirements You are trained as a social worker and have experience in supportive work with children, young people, and parents. You have knowledge and experience in children's rights, child development, and children in vulnerable situations. You have knowledge of society's support functions and public services. You have experience teaching, lecturing, or implementing knowledge-building initiatives. You express yourself very well in speech and writing in Swedish. You have a B driver's license and are accustomed to driving. Desirable Qualifications Experience with authority functions in the child and family sector. Good to Know About the Position The position is full-time. Bris applies a 6-month probationary period. You'll have goal-oriented working hours. The position is based at the Linköping office. It's a broad role where you work mobile and need to be flexible, as the position involves travel throughout the region as well as some evening and weekend work.
