As a Fire Safety Coordinator, you will work to improve and develop fire safety in our organization. A major focus will be on supporting the region's operations through the development and implementation of plans, guidelines, and procedures. Other examples include evaluating and following up on fire safety measures and ensuring compliance with fire safety laws, regulations, and requirements. You will also educate and coach employees in fire safety. The role requires pedagogical and administrative skills. We are now seeking a Fire Safety Coordinator for Region Properties in Sundsvall. Responsibilities The Fire Safety Coordinator leads, develops, coordinates, and monitors one or more operational areas' systematic fire safety work from a user perspective. You will also: Plan and conduct fire safety training Hold workplace-specific briefings on risks, fire safety, and response procedures Coordinate and conduct exercises where multiple operations collaborate Support operations with training, exercises, and evacuation Serve as responsible person for flammable materials within a defined area Contribute to strengthening a safe and security-conscious organization Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has post-secondary education in, for example, disaster prevention, fire safety, security, or equivalent Has experience planning and/or conducting training, exercises, or information initiatives Has very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing Has a Category B driving license It is meritorious if you: Have worked with systematic fire safety work (SBA) and/or safety issues Have work experience in rescue services or similar operations To succeed in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Collaboration skills Structured Service-oriented Pedagogical insight Self-driven We place great importance on personal suitability.
