📌About the Role
As a Fire Safety Coordinator, you play an important role in creating a safe and secure work environment. You drive and develop our systematic fire safety work (SBA) in close collaboration with colleagues throughout the organization.
The role is both practical and strategic – you work with everything from inspections and testing to training and development of work methods.
Example of Work Tasks
Plan, conduct, and follow up on fire safety inspections
Test and maintain fire safety systems, such as fire alarms and extinguishing systems
Work with risk assessments and development of SBA
Conduct training and exercises in fire safety
Document and ensure compliance with legal and insurance requirements
Provide support to the organization on fire safety matters
🌟We're Looking for You
who has an interest in safety matters and wants to contribute to a safe and sustainable operation. You enjoy taking responsibility for your area while collaborating with colleagues and sharing knowledge throughout the organization.
You have education in fire safety, such as fire safety engineering, fire security, or equivalent, as well as experience in systematic fire safety work (SBA). We would appreciate it if you have several years of experience with similar tasks. Perhaps you currently work as a part-time firefighter? We believe it's valuable experience and can be combined with on-call service.
It's an advantage if you have experience working with fire alarm and extinguishing systems or have background from industrial operations or emergency services. Since we have operations in several locations in the municipality, you need a valid class B driver's license.
As a person, you are structured and thorough with a strong focus on quality and safety. You take initiative, drive your work forward, and at the same time have good pedagogical skills – you enjoy creating understanding and engagement around fire safety matters with others.
