The Joint Management Administration consists of the operational areas Support and Development, Strategic Community Planning, Fire and Rescue Services and Safety, HR, Communication, and Planning and Follow-up. The administration is tasked with leading, supporting, and coordinating the entire municipal organization on behalf of the municipal council. This is done by keeping the customer's needs in focus and by having a holistic view and common working methods. We are a learning organization that promotes innovation and learning from both the external environment and each other. A total of 128 people work within Fire and Rescue Services and Safety, and in the operational part 35 full-time firefighters, 57 on-call rescue personnel (part-time firefighters), and 20 members of the fire reserve work. The position is located at the fire station in Tjällmo. 3 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES On-call firefighter means you respond to emergency calls by being on standby and prepared for rescue work within 7 minutes. Your work tasks include participating in drills to become proficient in procedures related to our most common types of emergencies, such as fires, traffic accidents, emergency medical services, or water rescue; preparing for emergency calls; responding to emergencies; and restoring equipment after calls. It is important that you both live and work within 7 minutes of the fire station in Tjällmo. On-call time is 1 week every 4 weeks. Training and education time is approximately 60 hours/year. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: On-call time and availability • You must be able to reach the fire station within 7 minutes and be able to be on standby one week every 4 weeks. Class B Driver's License • Upon employment, you must have a Class B driver's license; once employment is confirmed, you must begin training to obtain a Class C driver's license. Good Physical Health • We conduct physical tests before employment, so you need to be healthy and in good physical condition. Approval from Primary Employer • You need approval from your primary employer to be on standby during regular working hours. Swimming Proficiency • Swimming proficient in accordance with Silverbojen. Treadmill Test with Emergency Gear • You will perform a work-related treadmill test before you are approved for duty and employment. Class C Driver's License • It is advantageous to have a Class C driver's license as all our employed firefighters must have this eventually. Training in Fire and Rescue Services or Health Care • It is advantageous if you have already worked in Fire and Rescue Services in another location or have training in municipal Fire and Rescue Services. You are confident in yourself, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak up when needed. You have the ability to separate facts from person and can feel secure even in uncertain situations. You work well with other people. You relate to them in a responsive and flexible way. You can adapt and find win-win solutions through a humble focus on the common goal. You have the resources required for change or problem-solving. You do your best by doing what you can right now.
