As a drill machine technician at Sandvik in Kiruna, you'll have the opportunity to work at the heart of mining and rock industry technology. You'll be an important part of a skilled team where you drive improvements and help our customers get drilling equipment that performs efficiently and with high operational reliability. You'll work closely with production, service, and customer teams to solve challenges, carry out service assignments, and deliver excellent results. About the Role You're responsible for installation, troubleshooting, and service of drill hammers and related systems. The work takes place both in the workshop and at customer sites and includes preventive maintenance, repairs, documentation, reporting, and feedback. You'll also participate in technical improvement projects and support colleagues and customers in correct equipment use. Key Responsibilities Perform service, repair, and maintenance of drill hammers Troubleshoot hydraulics, electrical/control systems, and mechanical components Conduct site visits to customers Manage spare parts inventory Contribute ideas to improvement projects Your Background We're looking for someone with a mechanical background and an interest in machinery. Experience with mining equipment is a plus. You work independently, are practical and solution-oriented, and communicate and document well in Swedish and English.
