As a traffic controller, you are the hub of operations and are responsible for ensuring that traffic is conducted safely, efficiently, and according to plan. You work closely with drivers, vehicle supervisors, planning, and management to handle both daily operations and unexpected events that arise along the way.

Your responsibilities
As a traffic controller, you are responsible for the operational traffic management within bus operations and work actively to ensure efficient traffic production.
Your main responsibilities are to:
Actively lead and direct daily bus traffic
Handle traffic disruptions, vehicle problems, and other operational deviations
Provide support and guidance to drivers on operational matters
Work proactively with planning and problem-solving to minimize traffic impact
Coordinate vehicle changes and personnel-related traffic measures
Prioritize resources to ensure safe and efficient traffic production
Follow up on and document deviations and take required measures
Collaborate with planning, vehicle supervisors, operations management, and other functions within the operation
Ensure that traffic production is conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and agreements
Work is conducted according to a schedule where morning and afternoon shifts alternate.

Your background and qualities
We are looking for someone who thrives in an operation where the pace is sometimes high and where quick decisions need to be made with focus on safety, quality, and customer service.
To succeed in this role, we see that you:
Have very good computer skills and find it easy to work in different digital planning systems
Are structured and can handle multiple tasks in parallel
Have good analytical ability and can make well-founded decisions under time pressure
Are solution-oriented and have a proactive work approach
Find it easy to collaborate and communicate with different professional groups
Take responsibility and work independently
Have a strong focus on safety and good service awareness
It may be an advantage if you have previous experience from public transportation or the transport industry, but this is not a requirement.
For this position, you are required to express yourself fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Working hours: Shift work according to schedule with morning and afternoon shifts, weekdays.
