The Social Services Administration is responsible for services, support, and assistance to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are governed primarily by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and shall implement services regulated by these laws. All operations are centered on the individual to meet their needs. The assignment involves strong customer focus and service spirit. LSS and Social Psychiatry Provider with just over 350 permanent employees is a service operation aimed at children, youth, and adults. We are governed by, among others, LSS, SoL, and HSL and have responsibility for implementing services regulated by these laws. The operation is characterized by placing the individual at the center and collaborating to meet the individual's needs. The operation has strong customer focus, good service spirit, and provides conditions for boundary-crossing work that is both inspiring and competency-developing. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a residential support provider, you work with providing help and support in the home to adults with varying difficulties and needs within LSS and social psychiatry areas. You work with motivation and change work through close contact, conversations, and practical support, based on the individual's needs. This could, for example, involve helping people create structure in their daily lives and carry out daily tasks, providing support in various contacts with authorities, and supporting individuals in different activities toward independent living. Additionally, you collaborate and cooperate with relevant stakeholders internally and externally and document the work as needed. A large part of the work is carried out independently. However, collegial support is always available to discuss problems; you meet your colleagues at the unit daily and need to be flexible there in both giving and receiving help as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Formal Competencies • You have at least a two-year education from a vocational college within social work, e.g., treatment pedagogue or other post-secondary education deemed equivalent. • You have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. • You have a category B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles. • You have experience from work within social psychiatry and/or LSS. You are stable and confident in yourself, handle stress constructively, and maintain a good mood under pressure and setbacks. You maintain a realistic perspective on situations and focus on the right things. You are confident in yourself, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak up when needed. You have the ability to distinguish between the issue and the person and can feel secure even in uncertain situations. You easily adapt, develop, and learn new things after changed demands, conditions, or circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can also change your perspective and approach. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement with unit manager.
