The role of residential support worker with us
In your assignment with us, you will be given the opportunity to work on developing our operations and help shape the work approaches needed to meet the future. Those of us working in the home team provide residential support to people with mental health disabilities and people within the LSS target group 1. We work, among other things, in the individual's home, and in everyday life we provide support by training skills and through conversations motivating the individual toward positive changes in their life situation. The work takes place in a team of four people with a lot of collaboration, while the position also involves working independently.
Your profile
As a person, you are accommodating in your approach and attentive to your surroundings. You create new contacts as well as maintain your current work relationships. You take responsibility and drive your work forward, deliver results, and prioritize your work in an efficient way. You see opportunities in changes, take your own initiatives, and bring new approaches to work-related matters. You actively collaborate with your colleagues and continuously share experiences, insights, and any challenges. You express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
We are looking for someone who has:
Completed a nursing program with a psychiatry focus and/or is a social pedagogue, social worker, treatment pedagogue, or has other post-secondary education that the employer considers equivalent.
Experience working with people who have mental health disabilities and/or people who belong to LSS target group 1
B-class driver's license for manual transmission
It is meritorious if you have:
Experience working with clarifying pedagogy
Relevant experience working with technical aids
Experience working in the neuropsychiatry field
Experience working with young adults with ADHD and autism diagnoses

The home team is based in central Kungsbacka but serves the entire municipality as our catchment area. We are geographically divided into three teams. We work according to IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus) and use, among other things, care and support coordination in our work.

Our offer and other information
We are offering two positions: one permanent full-time position starting October 1st, and one full-time temporary position ending June 2, 2028, with a start date by agreement.
Besides daytime hours, you will work one evening per week and every sixth weekend.
