We are now recruiting a residential support worker for a specialized housing facility within social psychiatry. WORK DUTIES As a residential support worker, your duties include providing support, service, and personal care to individuals with mental health disabilities and neurodevelopmental disabilities. We work based on each individual's personal implementation plan with a focus on participation, influence, and security with the individual at the center and based on good care practices. In this role, you will work largely independently but with close support and collaboration with colleagues, your manager, and our own health center with licensed staff, as it also includes delegated healthcare services. Working hours are scheduled day/evening/weekend shifts and on-call nights. You will work with, among other things: • Providing support and assistance in managing demands, planning, and carrying out daily living activities. • Providing support and assistance in managing household tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and cooking. • Providing support and assistance with personal hygiene and care. • Providing support and assistance in maintaining contacts and relationships in both private and formal settings. QUALIFICATIONS As a person, you are confident and stable. You are good at taking your own initiative and establishing good relationships with both clients, colleagues, and other collaboration partners. Furthermore, you are accustomed to working in a structured manner and taking significant responsibility for your work tasks. We also see that you have the following experience: • Completed and approved secondary education that we assess is relevant for the position, for example a care and nursing program/USK, mental health assistant, child and youth program, or similar. • You must have at least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual, mental, and/or neurodevelopmental disabilities. • You have training in clarifying pedagogy, low-arousal management, motivational interviewing (MI). • You have very good computer skills and experience documenting in social journals, creating implementation plans, and conducting risk analyses. • You are fluent in Swedish both spoken and written. Meritorious • Knowledge of psychotic disorders and autism spectrum disorder is meritorious for the position. Employment Form: Permanent position. The municipality applies individual salary setting.
