We are now recruiting residential support workers to join our team at Östervik group home. We offer training and a rewarding job where you make a real difference! This is a full-time position. About the residence Östervik is located at Stockholm's gateway, a charming archipelago setting about 15 minutes from Slussen. The unit houses 6 residents, target group 1, section 9 LSS. They live in their own apartments with beautiful common areas and access to a terrace and natural surroundings. Pleasant staff facilities with office, kitchen, and on-call room. About the role As a residential support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with other team members, you work toward making each day meaningful and enriching. You provide support and guidance in personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the role is to encourage and motivate residents to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for active and meaningful leisure time. Your responsibilities also include documentation and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours include daytime, evening, weekends, and on-call shifts with overnight stays. You will have a coordinator working closely with you, dedicating part of their time to the facility. Your experience and knowledge You have upper secondary education in health and care or equivalent qualifications. You have strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with this target group. Beyond that, your CV is not the most important factor. If you have the right qualities, we will support and help you grow. You have a positive outlook, strong commitment to people, and a sense of responsibility.
