We are now seeking a residential support worker to join our team at Norrsättersgatan. We offer training and a rewarding job where you make a real difference! The position is part-time (75%). We are now seeking a committed residential support worker for our group home with five residents and a team of 13 staff members. With us, you will meet a diverse group with varying needs, abilities, and interests. The work demands a strong pedagogical approach, flexibility, and the ability to tailor support based on each individual's unique circumstances. You work within clear structures and use pedagogical methods to strengthen the residents' independence, participation, and quality of life. The work environment involves challenging behaviors, which means you need to be secure, calm, and professional in your interactions. About the role As a residential support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with other team members, you work toward making each day meaningful and fulfilling. You provide support and guidance in personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the role is stimulating and motivating residents to develop their abilities and creating opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are daytime, evenings, and weekends. You will have a group manager working closely with you, who spends part of their time in the facility. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. Your experience and knowledge You have completed upper secondary education in care and welfare or equivalent training. You have strong Swedish language skills in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with this target group.
