Your responsibilities Our work is based on the individual's circumstances, needs, and wishes. The goal is to create a safe everyday life where the individual has the opportunity to develop, participate, and live as independently as possible. In the role of residential support worker, you support the residents in personal care, daily routines, training, and various activities, both at home and outside. An important part of the assignment is contact person responsibilities. Together with residents, you plan and follow up interventions through implementation plans. You also have a coordinating role where you build good collaborations with family members, day activities, healthcare, and guardians to create cohesive support around the individual. Work is scheduled for day and evening hours with every other weekend. Possible on-call duty for certain positions. The position is placed within LSS Väster and you need to be flexible in working at several of our residences. Your qualifications We are looking for someone who has completed and approved upper secondary education in healthcare and care, or other post-secondary education that the employer considers relevant. We see that you have experience working in healthcare and care, as well as experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. If you also have experience working as a residential support worker or other work that the employer considers relevant, we view that as a plus. For this position, you must have medical delegation or the ability to obtain medical delegation. You also have knowledge of and experience working with low-stimulation care approaches. You have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, good documentation practices, and experience creating implementation plans. You need to feel comfortable using digital tools in your daily work. Be self-directed, take responsibility for your work tasks, and have a structured working method. As a person, you are confident, attentive, and responsible. You treat people with respect and find it easy to build trustful relationships.
