We are now recruiting a residential support worker on an hourly basis for 2 units: Kämpevägen Group Home and Nibblevägen Service Housing. About Kämpevägen and Nibblevägen Kämpevägen group home is located in a residential area in Skälby, Järfälla. The unit focuses on participation and health. Nibblevägen service housing is located in Jakobsberg center, Järfälla. The unit focuses on participation and self-determination. Both units work toward residents' independence with support from our pedagogical framework in Nytida. We are now looking for a colleague who can and wants to work at both units. About the Role As a residential support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you work with the goal of making each day meaningful and fulfilling. You support and guide residents with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours include daytime, evening shifts, weekends, and on-call sleeping shifts. You will have a group leader or group manager close by who spends part of their time working in the operation. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. Your Experience and Knowledge You have secondary education in healthcare and social services or equivalent training. You have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and documentation experience. It is an advantage if you have experience working with this target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities to grow. You have a positive outlook, strong commitment to people, and take responsibility.
