The Workplace Individual and Family Services in Nordmaling Municipality has 35 employees and, since January 2024, is also responsible for operations for Bjurholm Municipality. The service is divided into five operational areas (OA): Children, Young People & Families, Open Care, Support & Care, Adults, and Management & Support. We are now looking for a colleague to provide residential support as part of Open Care. Residential support is a practical, pedagogical, and social intervention aimed at strengthening an individual's ability to manage daily life—both at home and in society. The work is individually designed based on each person's needs and goals, with a focus on promoting independence and creating structure in daily life. The service is primarily provided in the client's home or immediate surroundings and aims to strengthen the individual's ability to manage and develop their daily life. Your responsibilities include, among other things: • Planning and creating structure in daily life (e.g., cleaning, cooking, and laundry) • Motivating people to engage in social contact and activities • Providing support in various situations • Collaborating with family, case workers, day activities, and other key people around the individual • Meeting visitors at Knutpunkten, our service point and social meeting place • Managing social documentation in our digital activity system and working toward established goals Your Profile We are looking for someone with a positive outlook, strong commitment to people, and personal maturity. You are confident, unpretentious, and humble toward others' perspectives. Since daily planning can change on short notice, you need good ability to adapt to changed situations. You are responsible and enjoy working in a team where you contribute to a good work environment. Qualifications We are looking for someone with at least nursing assistant education or training in pedagogy, psychiatry, or substance abuse care. You may also have a higher education degree in a field relevant to the position. To succeed in the role, you also have experience working with people in vulnerable and difficult situations, substance abuse problems, mental health disabilities, or mental health issues. You need good knowledge of different functional variations, such as autism and ADHD. You have excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good computer skills. A B driving license is required, as the work involves travel within the municipality. It is a merit if you have: • Post-secondary specialist training in, for example, psychiatry, social psychiatry, substance abuse care, or behavioral science • Training and/or experience in care and support coordination • Experience in motivational interviewing (MI) and low-arousal approaches The Employment Working hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with the possibility of flexible hours. Evening work occurs. The schedule may be adapted over certain periods based on client needs, in which case this is done in consultation with management.
