We are now recruiting a residential support worker for our team at Harvestad Nybro. We offer training and a rewarding job where you make a real difference! This is a part-time position at 85%. About Harvestad Nybro The residence provides specialized services according to the Social Services Act (SoL) to adults with mental and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities, as well as services under the Support and Service Act (LSS). A pleasant home with 7 apartments of approximately 40-50 m² each, and most apartments have their own patio. The residence features a common dining area, a TV room, and access to outdoor space. The residence is located in the Harvestad district on the outskirts of Linköping, about 20 minutes from Linköping city center. Proximity to grocery stores and excellent transportation options. The residence is situated in a beautiful natural environment, a quiet area with horse pastures and a golf course nearby. About the Role As a residential support worker, you work based on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with other team members, you work toward making each day meaningful and enriching. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is stimulating and motivating residents to develop their abilities and creating opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours include day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and overnight on-call duties. You will have a team leader or supervisor who shares their time working in the activity. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. Your Experience and Knowledge You have upper secondary education in care and support or equivalent qualifications. You have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is advantageous if you have experience working with this target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.
