Our operations are located in the scenic Dänningelanda, approximately 1 mile south of Växjö. In Dänningelanda we have several operations, but now we are looking for you to work at our service housing with 14 spaces.
We are seeking 1-2 dedicated residential support workers. We offer housing for adults with disabilities according to LSS categories 1 and 2. We want you to work using a low-affect approach, be open to changes in the operations, and be able to work together with your colleagues following the routines and structures in place at the workplace.
Employment We offer wellness benefits of 2500 kr/year Start date in October 2026 or by agreement Employment level 80-100%
We use a 6-month probationary period and individual salary setting. We have a collective agreement with Kommunal.
Your Tasks: You are responsible for working together with your colleagues to provide individually tailored support to residents in all aspects of daily life to strengthen the resident's own abilities. You will assist residents with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, and hygiene. You always work from each resident's individual needs and their right to self-determination. A large part of the work involves contributing to the resident's independence and well-being based on their circumstances. You should be proactive and enjoy planning and taking initiative with those living in the facility, and adapt your communication so that residents at Skåningegård feel that you understand and respect them.
The work includes administrative tasks such as social documentation, creating implementation plans, etc., which requires good computer skills. You should have a professional yet close, motivating, and reassuring approach toward the residents you support. Our services involve working days, evenings, and weekends (separate night shifts). You will work according to a rotating schedule.
Qualifications: You are trained as a nursing assistant or have other relevant training for the role, such as a pedagogical background. Good computer skills and experience with documentation. As a person you are responsible, confident, committed, and have a positive attitude. You must have a B driver's license. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Meriting Qualifications Training or work experience in low-affect approaches, Studio 3, or working within LSS. You have experience working with clarifying pedagogy. You have knowledge of documentation according to IBIC. We require a criminal background check.
