As a Residential Support Worker, you work at one of our residences to support, motivate, and stimulate individuals' own ability to perform activities in daily life. You work to provide each customer with individually tailored support that helps them create structure, routines, and planning in their everyday life. Residential support is provided to people with various types of disabilities, which is why individuals' skills, needs, and development guide our efforts. The goal is to create conditions for an active and meaningful life in a safe and pleasant environment. The work tasks of a Residential Support Worker include documentation, creation of implementation plans, and case management. Examples of work tasks: Daily chores such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, bed making Documentation and reporting Outings, walks, exercise, and activities Personal care such as hygiene, showering, toilet assistance, support, and social presence Support and motivate the customer for increased independence in their daily life Working hours are arranged according to customers' needs and vary between day, evening, and night shifts, both weekdays and weekends. About Parkgatan The residence is centrally located in Lycksele with services such as pharmacy, bank, health center, swimming pool, cafes, shops, and restaurants in the nearby area. We also have our own garden. Here we grow vegetables, grill, and sit in the sun during summer. We engage in various activities such as ball sports and kubb. The proximity to the Umeälven river gives us the opportunity for swimming and fishing or skiing and ice fishing in winter. Who are we looking for? We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. And that you find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed. We would like you to be a nursing assistant, childcare worker, or have another equivalent education. It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience working with LSS and have care experience. It is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We would like you to have good physical capacity. Other information Employment form: 6-month probationary period with possibility of permanent employment Scope: 90% plus on-call nights Start date: 2026-10-01 We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are held on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Before a possible employment, you must be able to provide a police clearance certificate. You also need to be able to demonstrate that you have the right to work in Sweden by presenting that you have EU/EES citizenship or a valid work permit.
