About Gipsgjutarens Group Home
Our goal at Gipsgjutaren is to create an environment that promotes independence and communication. The residential facility, which opened in 2024, is located in the picturesque garden area of Enskede, Stockholm, just a short distance from the city center. The building is inspired by 1920s architecture and has been designed with care to harmonize with the local environment, while offering modern and functional solutions. Gipsgjutaren consists of three floors with six individually adapted apartments and offers both independent living and community.
The residential facility is specifically designed for people with extensive support needs requiring continuous communicative support. We use the latest technology, including eye-controlled computers and integrated systems such as Google Assist, which enables residents to independently control functions such as music, TV, and lighting. Here we strive for the environment to be as communicative as possible, with expertise in both analog and digital communication aids.
