Are you looking for meaningful work where you can make a real difference together with others? Do you want to work in a non-profit organization where the individual is always in focus? We are seeking staff members for our residential facilities at Mikaelgården! About Mikaelgården Mikaelgården offers residential accommodations for children and young people within the framework of LSS and HVB and operates a primary school and special primary school. We are a non-profit therapeutic-pedagogical organization and our school has a Waldorf orientation. At Mikaelgården, we have created a therapeutic environment for children who need more than temporary interventions. Our students, who are of primary school age, come from across the country and exhibit a wide spectrum of different psychological and social functional variations. Common diagnoses include ADD, ADHD, Autism, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Tourette's syndrome. Mikaelgården is beautifully situated just outside Järna town center. Teaching facilities, assembly hall, dining hall, and residences are all located in the same area and form a living context, which creates a special sense of security and belonging. We offer a warm and pleasant atmosphere with a clear daily rhythm. Here, opportunities are provided for social training, as well as practice in all matters related to the practical tasks of daily life. Our fundamental philosophy is to strengthen the child's inherent abilities, and we are convinced that each individual possesses great development potential. We work individually with all children to create security, wholeness, context, and development. At Mikaelgården, there are seven residences in close proximity to the school. Each residence houses 4-5 children/young people. Three of our residences are licensed under LSS and four are licensed for HVB.
