We are seeking an experienced Residential Support Worker Tamira Tryggaboenden is a local and social company that offers quality housing and care services for individuals who are willing to change their life situation. We are now seeking a residential support worker with a positive and development-oriented approach to join our apartment-based housing in Malmö. Tamira's supported housing is directed towards people who need extra support to manage their housing and establish a daily routine with sustainable habits. The target group may need support due to mental health issues, substance abuse, and other forms of social vulnerability. The housing consists of individual apartments where residents have access to staff as well as common areas with educational activities. Job Responsibilities As a residential support worker, you are available to guide and provide security through support in daily life. The goal is to give individuals at the housing increased independence. You work with individual plans for the residents in collaboration with social workers and other networks. The work involves counseling support and case management. Your tasks include, among other things, maintaining ongoing documentation, intake conversations and follow-up meetings with social services, mapping the residents' resources, and lighter practical work such as preparing rooms and apartments. You participate in staff meetings and other planning time to develop the operation. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a positive outlook who wants to see people develop and who wants to support individuals in creating positive change. You have experience working with people in vulnerable situations, exclusion, or with different cultural backgrounds. We expect you to have a good ability to meet people respectfully with varying life histories and backgrounds. As a person, you have great patience while being goal-oriented and enjoying challenges. You are good at collaborating, creating and maintaining relationships, both with our residents and colleagues. You have great commitment and drive to develop our operations and our daily routines. Tamira is an operation in development and change, so it is important to be flexible and meet challenges with a positive attitude and a solution-oriented approach. In addition to this, you contribute to creating a good and pleasant work environment where we include, inspire and appreciate each other and share knowledge and experience. You have at least a 2-year post-secondary education in a relevant field, for example social work, treatment work, care and/or psychiatry, or equivalent work experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have good command of Swedish in both speech and writing; if you speak additional languages, this is a merit. Your knowledge of documentation is good. A driver's license is required for a permanent position. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. The position involves a favorable rotating schedule with service on weekdays, evenings, and one weekend per month.
