Housing Support in Backa implements housing support decisions with a special focus on target groups within social psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, and comorbidity. The unit consists of approximately 25 employees, of which 2 are educators. We are based at Rimmaregatan. We are now looking for two new colleagues Job Responsibilities As a housing support worker, you provide individually tailored support at home to people with, among other things, mental disabilities, NPF, comorbidity, and substance abuse issues. You work independently, take responsibility, and have a pedagogical and motivating approach. The goal is to strengthen the individual's own resources and ability to create change in everyday life. Support can include, for example, creating structure and routines, strengthening social contacts, promoting meaningful activities, breaking isolation, and preventing eviction. The role includes collaboration with social workers, healthcare, the Social Insurance Agency, and other actors. You are also responsible for social documentation and implementation plans, and together with colleagues you follow up on interventions to develop the operations. You will have access to your own work computer and work phone. Working hours are mainly during day and evening shifts. Weekend work may occur based on operational needs. Qualifications We are looking for you with a degree from the Care and Health Program, support assistant training, or the Child and Leisure Program with a social or pedagogical focus. The requirement is also met through post-secondary specialization in the disability field of at least 200 YH credits, 120 higher education credits, or an equivalent combination of four terms of full-time studies. Another option is 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience in support and services for people with disabilities. The education must include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care. Equivalent education may be accepted. Good communication and documentation skills are important for this position. We require a passing grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If you do not meet the language requirement, you may be offered a language test via Educateit. It is a requirement that you have at least two years of experience working with people with NPF and/or mental health issues. You must also have experience in housing support or other activities that the employer deems equivalent. Experience with digital documentation systems, such as Treserva, is a requirement. Experience and knowledge of IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus) and SoL (Social Services Act) are also requirements. A class B driver's license is also required. Experience with the following methods is meritorious for the position: MI (Motivational Interviewing) and ESL (A Self-Reliant Life).
