ABOUT US The activity's purpose is to offer safe and comfortable housing in apartment form where support aims to promote the individual's ability to live independently and remain in housing, as well as a path to as independent a life as possible. The goal is that the individual's physical, mental, and social support needs, according to the assistance decision, shall be met. Services are adapted to the individual's own capacity, with the aim of achieving increased participation in society. Energivägen supported housing operates with the individual at the center and strong user influence. We have strong faith in our residents and always encourage new initiatives and suggestions. We offer you the opportunity to work in an activity with high expertise, where your future colleagues have relevant education and possess varied professional competence and work experience within social work. We work according to methods such as MI, LAB, and CM/VSS to support our tenants in the best way. Each week, scheduled collegial method support is offered as well as regular external supervision. The work team has a positive atmosphere and we want to maintain our unpretentious spirit where we care for each other. The housing consists of fifteen apartments with secondary contracts and one on-call apartment. We have a common house with a shared kitchen and living room for our tenants, staff space, and two small bedrooms for on-call sleeping. In the shared outdoor area, there is a pergola with flowers and picnic tables, a grill area, and lawns to use. The housing is centrally located in Kungälv near bus transportation. You are, together with a colleague, a contact person for tenants and therefore an important support during their stay. Your work aims to strengthen and support individual tenants to take personal responsibility for their life process through structured support and motivation conversations. You are responsible for creating and following up partial and final reports as well as implementation plans. As a residential support assistant, you work daily to motivate and encourage our tenants to participate in meaningful daily activities. You also work practically with tasks such as cleaning, preparing the on-call apartment, errands, some cooking, and more. We are looking for you who are an engaged and relationship-building social pedagogue, social worker, or with other education deemed equivalent. A responsive approach, great personal maturity, and the ability to create a safe and calm environment are of great importance. You have the ability to set appropriate boundaries, create clarity and structure in daily life. You are well-organized and have good collaboration skills, while appreciating independent work. You are comfortable maintaining and driving contacts with, for example, social services and other authorities. You are practically minded and not afraid to step in where needed. It is a merit if you have previous experience working with people with substance use disorders and mental health issues, homelessness, and social exclusion. It is also advantageous if you have documented training and experience with MI, LAB, and CM/VSS. As a colleague, you are an important puzzle piece in a good work environment, and a willingness to contribute to the activity's development is a requirement. Driving is part of the position, which means you need to have a B driver's license and be comfortable driving as part of your work. You also need to have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as there are regularly extensive documentation tasks. It is a requirement that you can work with IT tools and have good computer skills. You work scheduled hours where day, evening, weekend, and on-call sleeping shifts are included. No scheduled solo work.
