We are now seeking a special education teacher with a focus on mathematics for Stenhammarskolan. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES As a special education teacher with us, you will play an important role in the school's systematic quality improvement work. You will analyze learning environments and student outcomes at both group and organizational levels to identify areas for development and opportunities. By mapping, investigating, and analyzing students' individual support needs, you will contribute to designing and following up intervention programs that make a difference. A central part of your work is also to mentor and support teachers in adapting instruction to meet all students' needs, particularly in mathematics. Together with your colleagues, you will create an inclusive and stimulating school environment where every student has the chance to succeed. FOR THIS ROLE, WE REQUIRE THAT YOU: have a teacher's degree and have started or completed specialized teacher education with a special education teacher qualification. have experience working in primary and/or intermediate grades of elementary school. have good knowledge of language, reading, and writing development as well as neuropsychiatric conditions (NPF). are confident in mentoring and consultative assignments and can support colleagues on pedagogical matters. WE VALUE THE FOLLOWING HIGHLY: Qualification to teach in grades 7–9. Qualification in mathematics. Experience teaching according to Lgr22. Experience working with students with Swedish as a second language, students in need of special support, and knowledge of inclusive learning environments.
