Hässelby-Vällingby home care is the municipal alternative in the district and provides needs-assessed services according to the Social Services Act. We provide support to elderly people and persons with disabilities – with a focus on the individual's needs, continuity, and quality. You are part of the home care and residential support psychiatry area and report to the area manager. In the area, you have five other unit manager colleagues whom you work closely with, and together we develop our operations forward. You will have close support in your role through experienced manager colleagues and the administration's specialist functions in HR, finance, IT, MAS, and operational management. You lead an operation where conditions can change rapidly and where planning, resource management, and quality need to go hand in hand. You lead through close and trust-based leadership where you create clarity, structure, and participation. You are present and available in the operation and work actively to create good conditions for employees to succeed in their assignments. In the role, you will: - Lead, plan, and follow up on operations based on set goals and assignments - Create a sustainable work environment and engaged employee participation - Take responsibility for budget, resource planning, and results - Work actively with staffing, scheduling, and resource management - Drive systematic quality and improvement work - Lead development and change initiatives - Ensure that operations are conducted with the focus on the elderly and individuals' needs, participation, and independence - Develop collaboration with other operations and functions - Follow up on operational results and translate follow-up into concrete improvements You are expected to be able to combine an operational focus with a holistic perspective and actively contribute to the development of the entire operational area. Your Competence and Experience Requirements: - A degree in social work (socionomutbildning) or other education that the employer deems equivalent - Experience as a manager with responsibility for personnel, finances, and operations - Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing - Good knowledge of home care services - Knowledge of relevant legislation, such as the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Work Environment Act (AML) Merits: - Experience working in a politically governed organization - Experience with change management in complex organizations - Experience with systematic quality work and integrated management systems Personal Qualities: We're looking for you who is a secure and clear leader who creates engagement and participation.
