Responsibilities Do you want meaningful work where you make a difference in people's daily lives? We are now recruiting temporary substitutes for our child services and personal support positions within the Department for Functional Support. With us, you will meet children, young people, and adults with various support needs and life situations. Regardless of the activity, your task is to create security, participation, and conditions for a meaningful daily life based on each individual's needs and abilities. Work duties vary depending on the activity but may include personal care, educational support, communication and social interaction support, activities, documentation, and common household tasks. In certain activities, medication management according to delegation, work with medical aids, or extensive personal care may occur. You will work either in our child residential facilities and respite care homes or providing personal support in individuals' homes and at activities outside the home. We work from an individually tailored approach and use, among other methods, low-arousal approach (LAB) and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) where applicable. Working hours are arranged for day, evening, weekend, weekday, awake night shifts, or sleeping on-call duty. Within personal support, a limited number of assignments with 24-hour shifts may occur. As a temporary substitute, you enter your own availability in our booking system Time Care Pool and are offered work shifts based on the activity's needs. This work suits you if you want to combine work with studies, other activities, or if you are seeking flexible extra work. Qualifications To work as a substitute within functional support, you must be at least 18 years old in accordance with regulations on the work environment for minors (AFS 2023:2 Chapter 6, sections 56, 8 §§). It is a requirement that you can provide a grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If not, you may be offered a language test via EducateIt. It is advantageous if you have: education or ongoing education in, for example, support assistant, nursing assistant, care and health, pedagogy, or behavioral science experience working within functional support, care and health, or personal assistance experience working with people with challenging behaviors knowledge of low-arousal approach (LAB) and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) experience with medical aids, mobility assistance, or extensive personal care a B driver's license We are looking for someone who puts the individual in focus and treats people with respect, good conduct, and commitment. You take responsibility for your work tasks and collaborate well with others. You also need to be confident in yourself and have the ability to remain calm even in pressured situations.
