WORK TASKS We are now seeking temporary substitutes interested in working as personal assistants within LSS, substitutes who may also be relevant for a permanent position in the future. As a personal assistant within LSS, your focus is on rehabilitation and habilitation, as well as making everyday life as meaningful as possible for the care recipient. The work involves being the extended arm of the person entitled to assistance. Together with the care recipient, you plan, design, carry out, and follow up on all the care recipient's daily activities. You will primarily work alone, which makes it important that you can take personal responsibility and are solution-focused. As a personal assistant, you should contribute stability and security for the care recipient. You will work Monday through Sunday with varying working hours such as day, evening, weekends, and on-call nights. Being a temporary substitute means: • You replace regular staff during absences. • You work on short assignments of 1-14 working days per assignment. • You may work with different care recipients and at different workplaces. • Your working hours are by agreement based on the business's needs and your wishes. • You have access to a mobile phone and/or computer to actively make yourself available in our staffing system. • You are contacted via SMS regarding short-term assignments, which means many contacts occur with short notice, often the same day as the need arises. QUALIFICATIONS It is a merit if you are a nursing assistant or have equivalent education/experience in LSS. Based on that experience, you apply a pedagogical approach and understand that the starting point in daily work is our care recipients and that they should have a safe and supportive everyday life. You are flexible, adapt well to change, and are empathetic in your interactions. You have very good Swedish language skills and can communicate freely in both speech and writing. The best interests of our care recipients are the starting point in all our work, and therefore we place great importance on personal suitability in every staff appointment. A requirement is a class B driver's license (manual) as transportation is part of the assignment. Before a potential employment, an excerpt from the criminal records register must be presented.
