Description We are now seeking a coordinating support pedagogue with an interest in quality and development who, together with colleagues, wants to help shape an operation where commitment, genuine interest, and innovative ideas are valued. Responsibilities As a support pedagogue, you will be organized under a unit manager and have a pedagogical and coordinating function for the operation's planning, documentation, follow-up, and method supervision. You will lead method meetings, distribute daily work, and contribute to the operation's development. You are a role model in pedagogical work and support support pedagogues and support assistants in using evidence-based methods and approaches to create independence within the work team. You collaborate with other support pedagogues within children and youth services, HSL, and relevant authorities around the children. In this role, you are responsible for developing and ensuring quality in method work through supervision in approach, method, and social documentation. You follow up on work approaches, identify development needs, and contribute to high-quality operations. You will plan introductions for new employees and temporary staff, follow up on shadowing, and provide feedback to the unit manager. You also support colleagues in delegation processes and use of the operation's IT systems, and identify needs for skills development. You will be scheduled for daytime work Monday–Friday. Weekend work may occur. Full-time is 38:25 hours. Qualifications A fundamental requirement is that you have post-secondary education as a support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other higher education as a social worker, preschool teacher, or equivalent, as assessed by the employer as equivalent. You must also have a passing grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. You need to have at least 2 years of previous experience working as a pedagogue in LSS operations or adapted preschool/school. We also see that you have knowledge and experience of working according to evidence-based approaches such as low-arousal approach (LAB), alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), and visual teaching methods. Knowledge of PDA (extreme demand avoidance) is meritorious, and if you have experience leading/coaching others in daily work, that is also positive. We are looking for someone who finds it easy to adapt your approach based on changed circumstances and who sees opportunities in changes. You are motivated by clear goals and can translate them into concrete actions. You follow up on work and ensure that interventions lead to desired results. You are confident in social situations and stand by decisions made. At the same time, you communicate clearly and can handle both everyday and challenging situations in a professional manner. We also see that you listen to others, show interest and respect, and adapt your approach based on the individual and situation. Through your approach, you contribute to good relationships and excellent cooperation.
