That's why we offer an apprenticeship program that gives you training, practical experience, and a clear pathway into the role of setup technician. With us, you'll have the opportunity to learn the trade from the ground up through a combination of training and work. Our goal is to equip you with the skills the industry demands while creating long-term career opportunities. About the Apprenticeship Program You'll start the program with intensive, structured training totaling nine days at Skill. During training days, you'll receive a salary, and the training combines theory with practical elements, so you can immediately apply what you learn. After training, your employment and development continue on-site at Fergas, where you'll learn the setup technician role with support from experienced colleagues and mentors. About the Setup Technician Role As a setup technician, you're responsible for ensuring production runs efficiently and with high quality. You'll gradually learn to: Adjust and calibrate machines in production. Troubleshoot and resolve problems that arise. Ensure quality in the manufacturing process. Work on improvements and efficiency enhancements. Understand the production flow from raw materials to finished product. This is a role where technology, problem-solving, and hands-on work come together – and where you get the chance to make a real difference in production. Work Hours: Monday–Thursday: 06:30–15:30, Friday: 06:30–15:00 Who Are We Looking For? We're looking for someone who is curious, engaged, and wants to develop in a new trade. You might work in a different industry today or be at the start of your career. For us, your attitude and willingness to learn matter more than previous experience. The Recruitment Process To ensure a good match, we conduct a structured selection process. All steps are mandatory and help both you and us create the right conditions for a successful start. The process consists of: Application with screening questions - Submit and answer a few short questions. Capacity test - Digital test (approximately 30 minutes). Site visit at Fergas – Thursday, week 36. Work trial at Skill – week 37. Digital interview and reference checks – weeks 37-38. Final interview at Fergas – Tuesday, week 39. 👉 All steps are mandatory. The apprenticeship program is a consulting assignment where you'll be employed by Skill, starting Tuesday, November 3rd. After six months, the goal is for you to transition to direct employment with Fergas.
