Your Tasks
As a team member in our staffing pool, you are an important and flexible resource that strengthens the operation where the need is greatest. You will work at several of our LSS residences in Doverstorp and central Finspång and contribute with continuity, quality, and security for the individuals you support.
Your introduction takes place at one of the units, where you get to know the operation. After that, you receive rapid skills development by working at multiple units. We offer training such as sign language courses, low-arousal approaches, and other relevant competency-enhancing initiatives.
In this role, you work closely with the individual to create structure, participation, and meaning. The tasks may include personal care, support with meals, hygiene routines, exercise activities, medication management, and planning and implementation of social activities.
We always adapt support according to the individual's needs and communicate via sign language or other individualized communication methods. With a pedagogical and professional approach, you strengthen the individual's independence and contribute to achieving set goals.
You become part of close collaboration between units, unit managers, and staffing administrators where dialogue and quality are in focus.
About You
We are looking for someone who has completed upper secondary education, preferably in health and care, children and leisure, or equivalent training. Pedagogical education of at least 180 hp is considered a merit. Experience working with persons with disabilities or in psychiatric operations is particularly valuable.

Computer skills are required as documentation is a recurring and important task. You need to master the Swedish language well for the work and be thorough in your administration.
Since we communicate in many different ways, it is an advantage if you have previous experience with low-arousal approaches, sign language, and/or tactile sign language.
Employment
The employment is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period, and start date is by agreement. Working hours follow a schedule that includes day, evening, and weekend work and possible on-call duties. We apply individual salary setting.
As part of our recruitment process, all applicants undergo occupational psychological testing.
To be employed, a criminal record check is required as well as a valid Swedish work permit. A B-class driver's license is a requirement.
