As Depot Manager at Toolpal in Stockholm, you'll have a broad role with responsibility for personnel, customers, and the depot – in a company that is digitalizing equipment rental in the construction industry. About the Role As Depot Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the daily operations at the depot. You plan and allocate work tasks, ensure the right equipment is in the right place at the right time and functions as an important contact person – both internally and with customers. You lead the team day-to-day; currently without formal personnel responsibility, but with the goal that you gradually take on full personnel responsibility for the depot. You work closely with the depot's team, mechanics, and sales staff, and maintain contact with customers both in the shop and at their job sites. Beyond day-to-day operations, you participate in purchasing work together with the CEO and other depot managers, and you serve as the depot's control function for invoice processing. Responsibilities • Work supervision and personnel planning for the Bredden depot • Customer reception and follow-up – in shop, by phone and email, and at customer locations • Invoice administration; review and approval of the depot's invoices • Receipt and assessment of returned equipment, including customer communication regarding wear and fees • Logistics and movement of equipment between the Stockholm and Uppsala depots • Purchasing work together with the CEO and other depot managers • Handling of insurance matters related to break-ins or loss of equipment • Workplace safety responsibility for the depot About You You are clear in your leadership, willing to have difficult conversations, and are neither conflict-averse nor overly accommodating. At the same time, you are organized and goal-oriented – you keep things in order, meet deadlines, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You are unpretentious and willing to help where needed, regardless of whether the task is formally yours or not. You thrive in an environment where people work together to reach common goals.
