You follow along in her daily life which includes: School and taxi rides Rehabilitation and hospital visits Hanging out at home and tons of fun activities Alternative Communication 👉 We're not the type to lie on the couch all day 😉 Things happen here! 🎉 Examples of what you can do together: Take walks and play on swings Go to discos and have fun Bake something delicious 🍪 Drive around and have adventures Hang out with little brother Read aloud (extra cozy!) 📚 🏠 About the home There are assistive devices and ceiling lifts – and you'll also meet: Mom Little brother And several furry family members 🐶🐱 ⏰ Working hours The job is 24/7 with sleeping on-call shifts. Recruitment Process We contact relevant candidates on an ongoing basis for an initial interview. The position will be filled when we find the right person, which can happen before the final application deadline. Your application will be reviewed by staff at Storsjöbygdens personliga assistans, together with the client, and any relatives, guardian, or other concerned parties. If the position involves work with a minor client, a background check excerpt is required. Child Perspective in Recruitment At Storsjöbygdens personliga assistans, we carefully follow the Child Convention, which means that if you apply for a position involving work with minors, the recruitment process will include specific steps to ensure that the child's wishes and needs are taken into account. When employed in a position working with a minor client, training on the child perspective is also included. Employment Terms If you progress in the recruitment process, you need to be able to prove your identity and demonstrate that you have the right to work in Sweden. To be able to sign your employment contract and timesheets, you must have a BankID. To ensure we maintain high quality in our assistance, new hires will complete a web-based introductory training (approximately 1 hour), preferably before employment starts but at the latest within one month from the start of employment. Training and good knowledge about work as a personal assistant are fundamental prerequisites for quality service delivery. To be able to work as a personal assistant, completion of the National Board of Health and Welfare's training "Personal Assistant as a Profession – a web introduction" is a requirement for all staff at Storsjöbygdens personliga assistans. The purpose of the training is to provide good knowledge and understanding of the various aspects of assistance and your important work as a personal assistant. The training covers topics such as work environment, documentation, quality, and various communication methods to help prevent difficult situations. For internal registration, send the course certificate to [email protected]. This applies whether you participate in the training individually or as a group. For group participation, the supervisor sends the course certificate, participant list, and date of the training to us. Estimated time for completion is approximately 60 minutes. The training should be prioritized and completed within your first month as an employee with us. Complete the National Board of Health and Welfare's basic training here.
