About the Role
As Assistant Operations Manager, you will have a varied role where you combine business work with administration and operations development.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with customers and members, and working with bids and quotes in both public and private sectors.
You will also provide important support to the Operations Manager and will work closely with the board on matters concerning the organization's development, strategy, and future direction.
Your Main Responsibilities
Work with bids, quotes, and procurement in both the public sector (LOU) and private business.
Identify and develop new business opportunities for Maskinring Örebro and our member companies.
Build and develop long-term relationships with customers, members, and partners.
Participate in customer meetings, business dialogues, and negotiations.
Plan and manage projects, resources, and customer relations in our management systems.
Prepare decision-making materials, reports, and board documentation.
Participate in board meetings and contribute to the implementation of board decisions.
Work closely with the Operations Manager and board on operations development and strategic matters.
Handle certain administration, follow-up, and invoicing.
Drive your own development projects and contribute new ideas and business opportunities.

Have experience in or interest in tendering work, procurement, business development, or project management.
Experience from contracting, agriculture and forestry, staffing, the public sector, or member-owned organizations is a merit, but we place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
