Your Assignment The Night and Alarm Patrol is part of Nacka Municipality's elderly care services and is responsible for 24-hour security alarms and planned services during nights. The operation comprises approximately 35 employees and operates with the support of several digital systems and in close collaboration with other operations and partners. As Assistant Operations Manager, you work closely with the Operations Manager and are responsible for daily operations, staff, and the operation's development. You have an important role in creating good continuity for customers, ensuring quality in the operation, and giving employees clear conditions to succeed in their assignments. The role is operationally focused and involves many contact points with employees, customers, relatives, and collaboration partners. Your responsibilities include: - Lead, support, and follow up with approximately 35 employees - Plan and monitor staffing and resource planning based on operational needs - Work with work environment, personnel matters, and competency development - Ensure quality through monitoring deviations, self-inspections, and documentation - Contribute to budget monitoring and financial planning with the Operations Manager - Develop working methods that strengthen continuity, collaboration, and quality - Maintain close dialogue with customers and relatives and manage feedback and deviations - Collaborate with home care services, needs assessors, rehabilitation, health centers, and SOS Alarm - Participate in the local management team and contribute to the operation's continued development The role involves leadership that largely takes place remotely, although you will be based at our senior living facility Sofiero. Therefore, you need to be able to create structure, build trust, and monitor operations even when you don't meet employees daily. Work is primarily scheduled during daytime hours, but evening work occurs in connection with management team meetings. To develop understanding of the operation and to be an engaged manager, you also need to work certain night shifts when you determine it is necessary. Your Experience To be considered for the position, you must have: - Relevant university education, such as nursing, social work, or equivalent qualification - Several years of documented leadership experience with personnel and work environment responsibility - Experience working in home care, night patrol, or other elderly care operations - Good knowledge of the Social Services Act (SoL) - Good digital skills and experience working with digital operation systems - Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish It is a plus if you have: - Leadership training - Healthcare or nursing education - Experience with quality work, deviation management, and self-inspections Is This You?
