The Government Agency operational area is responsible for our reception, our foster homes, and the units that work with investigations and follow-ups, which involves government authority exercise related to both children, young people, and adult residents. The assignment is characterized by strong development momentum and a clear ambition to reform social services in line with the new Social Services Act. Job Duties As Assistant Operations Manager, you work closely with the Operations Manager and are an important part of the management of the operational area. You contribute to leading, developing, coordinating, and following up on operations with a focus on quality, legal security, sustainable development, and good outcomes for residents. The assignment encompasses both the children and youth area as well as the adult area. You collaborate closely with unit managers, support functions, and other operations within the city to create wholeness and context for the people we serve. The role of Assistant Operations Manager is under development and will be shaped based on operational needs. The role includes, among other things: - Leading and developing operations together with the Operations Manager and unit managers - Contributing to the implementation of the transition to the new Social Services Act - Ensuring lawful government authority exercise and good quality - Following up on operations, finances, and results - Driving and following up on development and change work - Creating conditions for sustainable and trust-based leadership - Strengthening collaboration both internally and with other societal actors - Contributing to a culture characterized by learning, participation, and innovation What We Offer With us, you get the opportunity to help shape social services in a city that has high ambitions and strong development momentum.
