Radiology Bollnäs and Söderhamn are part of the Imaging and Functional Medicine operations unit and conduct diagnostic activities with a wide range of examinations including computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, and conventional X-ray. The operations are characterized by modern technology, high expertise, and close collaboration between different professions. We are a well-functioning unit with strong cohesion, engaged employees, and close collaboration between our facilities in Bollnäs and Söderhamn. In recent years, the operations have developed through new equipment, renovated premises, and a growing organization. We are now seeking an Assistant Radiology Department Manager who wants to contribute to the continued development of our operations. 1 position(s). DUTIES As Assistant Radiology Department Manager, you will work closely with the Radiology Department Manager and play a central role in the daily management of operations. You are responsible for planning and coordinating daily operations and creating favorable conditions for efficient and safe patient care. You will work 60% as Assistant Radiology Department Manager and spend the remaining time in clinical work. The role involves operations-focused leadership where you serve as a support to both employees and the Radiology Department Manager, even though you do not have personnel responsibility. You combine administrative tasks with clinical work and contribute to developing and coordinating operations based on the goals of the operations unit and Region Gävleborg. As Assistant Radiology Department Manager with us, you will, among other things: • plan and coordinate daily operations for Radiology Bollnäs and Radiology Söderhamn • work with staffing planning, schedule-related matters, and administrative personnel issues • provide support to employees on matters such as TimeCare and Self-Service • participate in recruitment, onboarding, and competency planning together with the Radiology Department Manager • plan, coordinate, and follow up on development and improvement work within the operations • contribute to creating favorable conditions for collaboration, quality, and a sustainable work environment • work clinically as part of your position and stay updated on the operations' daily activities and needs. You are communicative, collaboration-oriented, and have a talent for building good relationships. As a person, you are responsible, stable, and solution-focused, while also contributing with engagement in the operation's development work. As Assistant Radiology Department Manager, we see that you • are a trained nursing assistant, licensed nurse, or licensed radiologic technologist • have a valid B driver's license. It is advantageous if you have management training as well as experience with scheduling, staffing planning, and work with daily operations in healthcare.
