Medical Department 4 has specialized expertise in stroke, and Medical Department 5 in newly diagnosed diabetes and nephrology. Both departments care for patients with general medical diseases and conditions 24/7. We are now seeking an assistant nurse unit manager who wants to help strengthen our teams and contribute to a sustainable and developing work environment. 1 position(s). DUTIES The role of assistant nurse unit manager involves working closely with the nurse unit managers for Departments 4 and 5. Together, you will be responsible for the departments' operational management, work environment, and daily planning. You will have personnel management responsibility. The position is 100%, where you work 50% on each department. The role is operational and close to the operations. You are present where the staff are and serve as a secure, present, and solution-oriented leader in daily work. As assistant nurse unit manager, you will • be responsible for staffing, scheduling, and planning of daily operations • work with the work environment and introduce new staff members • handle deviations and provide feedback in operations • work with administrative tasks such as documentation and system support • contribute to developing work methods, strengthening collaboration, and creating participation • provide support in conflict management and contribute to a sustainable work climate • collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. You are present, secure, and dare to make decisions. The role requires good communication skills, ability to collaborate, and the ability to create engagement. As a person, you are positive, structured, and solution-oriented. You build relationships, create trust, and contribute to a good work environment. You have the ability to handle stress, prioritize, and provide support to staff in daily work. To succeed in the role, you need • education and experience compatible with working in a medical department • work experience within healthcare. Previous management and/or leadership experience is meritorious. If you have training as a nurse, that is also meritorious. You will be employed in your base profession with a management assignment.
