The Department of Aviation and Aeronautical Sciences at LTH, Lund University, is recruiting an Assistant University Lecturer.
The position is affiliated with the Department of Aviation and Aeronautical Sciences, a centre of excellence for research, development and education in the aeronautical sciences where we, in collaboration, understand, explain and improve aviation towards an accessible, sustainable and safe society in the digital age. The department's research focus areas are: Sustainable Aviation, Unmanned Aviation and Aviation Safety.
The department conducts extensive educational activities in both manned (Approved Training Organisation, ATO) and unmanned (Authorized Drone School, ADS) aviation. We train pilots for heavy commercial aviation, transport pilots for the Swedish Armed Forces, and UAS pilots in the Open and Specific categories.
The strength of our department lies in close collaboration between the training organization and research, as well as between researchers in different specialist areas.
