JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will become an important ambassador for the Social Services Department's operations. You will have a position of trust with broad scope where you have the opportunity to influence based on your previous experience and expertise. Your main task will be to work together with the Social Services Director to create the best conditions for the department's unit managers and staff. You will support unit managers in matters concerning operations and operational development, participate in various networks, collaborate internally and externally, and represent the Social Services Director during their absence. The role also involves driving development and change work within the Social Services Department during a time when the organization is facing several major transformations. The position may also include personnel responsibility for parts of the operations. The specific design of the assignment may develop over time based on operational needs. Your days will be varied and consist of everything from keeping yourself updated on developments and current legislation to leading and driving projects that develop the Social Services Department's operations. QUALIFICATIONS For you to thrive in this role and contribute in the best way possible, it is important that you are an experienced and confident leader with experience in financial management at a strategic level. Equally important is that you have experience working within social services or health and care, and thus have a good understanding of the different aspects of the operations. We are looking for someone with good knowledge of the laws and regulations that govern social services operations and the ability to translate legislation and changed requirements into practical operations. This is particularly important given the transformation that social services is currently undergoing. You will lead improvement work, meetings, and structure both your own and others' work at operational and strategic levels. You have the courage and ability to make decisions while being responsive, collaboration-oriented, and building trust. In terms of education, you have relevant academic training within social services, health, and care. A valid driver's license is a requirement as operations are located in multiple places in our geographically large municipality. We welcome your application! Salary range: The intended salary for the position is 55,000-69,000 kr/month depending on experience and education. We apply individual and differentiated salary setting.
