Together with school management and staff, you lead and develop the operation with a focus on high quality teaching, equity and students' goal achievement. You are present in daily operations and have many contact points, where you meet students, guardians, staff and external parties. Through close collaboration with various professionals, you contribute to creating sustainable solutions that strengthen students' learning and the school's continued development. The assignment includes personnel responsibility, budget and operational responsibility. During school year 26-27, this position will be focused on grades 4-6, but your management responsibility may vary over time depending on needs and priorities in the operation. This means you need to be interested in, and have the ability to, lead school operations for different age groups, areas and school forms. As part of our management team – principal, two additional assistant principals and an administrative manager – you become an important force in developing our school. Your competence and leadership We're looking for someone who is a confident, attentive and structured leader with the ability to translate goals into concrete priorities. You work methodically, follow up results and drive development forward with a focus on quality and goal achievement. You are a team player who enjoys working together and see the entire school as your responsibility. You have: A degree from college or university with a pedagogical focus and hold teaching certification for primary school. Several years of experience in teaching within primary school. Good knowledge of school organization and current governing documents. Experience with formal leadership in primary school with documented ability to drive and follow up development processes. Good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish and can produce your own documents of high quality. Merits for the role: Started or completed principal training. Experience as a school leader in primary school. Experience working with and driving systematic quality work. Experience handling contacts with staff, guardians and students as well as collaborating with external actors. Experience with Stockholm City's administrative systems such as scheduling, BER and Infomentor. Experience leading development work in digitalization and IT in school operations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability as well as motivation, drive and commitment to the position.
